1. Mutant baby born. Cerebra dies. Emma, Scott, Kurt, Warren, and Logan go to Cooperstown, Alaska. Purifiers and Marauders are already there. WHEE. They took the baby, but DID THEY? (It's as bad as Stamford from Civil War. OOPS.)

2. Media reports nothing significant on Cooperstown--it happened, it was tragic, no idea who was behind it. Scott tells Xavier to shut up and let him lead. Wolverine, Angel, Colossus, and Nightcrawler go looking for Sinister--find out Rogue is captive. Get attacked. Rictor and Madrox show up--by invitation. They are not pleased. Layla is there, too. Emma erased their inhibitions about working with the X-men. Oops. Rictor to infiltrate Purifiers. Hank and Xavier keep working on repairing Cerebra. Scott puts off talking to the X-kids about why they don't get to do anything. Predator X is running to the X-Mansion from Alaska. It is hungry.

3. Rahne fakes an attack to get Rictor into the Purifiers as Joaquin Murrieta, aka 'Jake'. It works. The X-kids confront Cyclops about not getting to do anything. Layla and Jamie visit Forge. He has a time machine, a 'chronal tracer'. Two timelines with mutants in them exist now. Wolverine gets run over by a car to see Amelia Voght (with the Acolytes). She runs. Storm catches her. She tells them (and Kurt) where the Marauders are. Joke about hell freezing over. Jamie gets to investigate using his dupes. Layla ends up going with dupe number 2. Oops. There is no way back. The dupes are telepathically set to self-destruct once they get the info, which will then go back to Jamie. Jamie is less than pleased. Then he collapses. Meanwhile the X-kids confront Scott. They have skills, they have experience, why the hell isn't someone using them. Scott fries Rockslide with an optic blast. He's overseeing a war here, people. Stop whining. He'll use them when he's good and ready, and when he has something for them to do. They can leave if they have issue with that, but he'll be disappointed, because who abandons their species at the first sign of trouble? Or the fifteenth? Cessily and X help Rockslide get up out of the wall. Rictor gets into the Purifiers. They have many bases. The X-men are fucked.

4. In the Canadian Rockies a mutant hiker gets eaten by Predator X. Yum. Surge wants to go take out the Purifiers while watching the news. Prodigy says don't be dumb. Xavier agrees with David. Nori goes off on him. Where was he when they were getting killed? 'We already know how to die.' Prodigy says it's been a rough year. Jamie is still in a coma. Scott says that's okay as they are fighting for the survival of the species. Forge is skeptical. The Purifiers killed 45 X-kids. Surge thought she and Cyclops had an understanding. Oops. Now she wants to get the Purifiers. She asks for volunteers. Julian is in. They killed Brian (Tag). Cessily is in. Sooraya is not--Nori is in it for blood. Santo is in, but he is not holding babies. They're creepy. Anole is in. He says ask the Cuckoos and check with O*N*E. Pixie will teleport them in, but won't kill anyone. Prodigy says do not do this. Josh is out, too, because he'd kill them all. Armor shows up and volunteers, too (HI ASTONISHING). Colossus, Storm, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, and Angel are in Antarctica. They found the Marauders. Rictor is being given a tour of the church in DC. All the people in the East will be showing up there. Purifiers do not have the baby, but they have hired people to look for it. Shit. Layla and Jamie are in the future. There are mutant internment camps. Oops. Layla finds this out using the library. Go Layla. The New X-men are in DC, getting the lay of the land. Surge asks X for info. She can smell guns and anti-telepathy implants. They are on church 8. Anole is going in undercover to get intel. X looks over the rooftop wall and sees seven purifiers on the outer perimeter with anti mutant weaponry. Two guards on the upper level, no weapons. The side entrance is the one they want and is most heavily guarded. Armor says wow. Dust regrets not going. Prodigy wants to tattle to Cyclops. Meanwhile the X-kids that went are killing Purifiers. Cessily takes one, Julian another. Back in Antarctica--Marauders vs X-men! FIGHT. Anole has knocked out some people and gotten to the computer cluster. Purifiers do not have the baby. Rictor finds him. Oops. The New X-men are in so much trouble. Surge is going a little overboard, Julian tries to pull her back, then pushes her out of the way of some gunshots. Then he gets stabbed by Lady Deathstrike. Cessily screams JULIAN.

5. Jamie and Layla discuss getting more info by getting captured. Sinister and the X-men taunt each other. HEY, Emma's there too, messing with everybody's heads. Sentinel pilots are bored. Scott is meeting with everyone left--like Bishop. Bishop is cranky Scott didn't wait for him. Marauders and X-men continue to fight. Wolverine vs Gambit. Deathstrike levels a claw at Laura. Reavers try to take them out. X won't let them touch Julian. FIGHT. The X-kids are in trouble. Pixie can't teleport them out. Rictor helps them, gets Pixie to concentrate. X is in mid-leap when the teleportation works. It is not a very good teleport, and the commotion interrupts Emma's concentration. Oops. The assault team is now in trouble. Logan realizes who has the baby, and Kurt gets hurt very badly. The Sentinels get taken over by weird silvery wires. Then they try to destroy the X-men. Oops. Cable has the baby.

6. The assault team returns home. Everyone but storm is in bad shape. They have no communication with the mansion. This is because of the Sentinels. Emma is unconscious. Warpath and Hepzibah fight. Hank takes Emma to the lab! Nezhno uses his strength. Oops. The Cuckoos are down, too. Mystique and Sinister talk. Cable is on the move. Dust tries to infiltrate a Sentinel. The missing X-kids return via plane. X drops from the sky, claws out. She is pissy. One Sentinel gets stabbinated/annihilated. The plane lands, they get Julian to the infirmary. Iceman freezes the head and X cuts it off. Iceman grabs her as the thing falls and James WHAMS it. Dust realizes something is inhabiting the Sentinels. The creepy robotthing tries to escape. X jumps down from the Sentinel head/chest and stabs it. Cyclops yells for her to stop. She gets it in the back, then gets electrocutes. Oops. Cyclops picks her up and carries her inside. They were Cassandra Nova's nanosentinels. Elixir is unconscious because a wall fell on him. He will be out for days. Cyclops tells Logan to assemble X-Force. Hepzibah, X-23, Caliban, Warpath, Rahne, Wolverine.

7. The X-people start cleaning up the mansion rubble. Xavier question's Soctt's assembling of X-Force. Scott says they are at Defcon 1, shut up. And go away. Xavier is shocked. Cable is in Canada, trying to avoid Lady Deathstrike and her people. Peter Quinn gets eaten by Predator X while on the phone with Siryn. Oops. Layla and Jamie lay a trap for some mutant camp people, then Jamie beats info out of them. The future does not look so bright. X-Force is in Cooperstown, Alaska, sneaking around behind the SWAT team. Wolverine and X, then Caliban, then Hepzibah and Warpath, then Rahne. Warpath knocks out the guy on the walkie-talkie, talks into it, then says he doesn't do stealth. Wolverine chews him out. Warpath points out now they will know where the bad guys are on their way out. Hah. X-23 and Wolverine travel together, then Caliban and Hapzibah, then Warpath and Rahne. Wolverine wants Rahne to make sure Warpath doesn't falter. Clearly this is a genius plan. Rahne and Warpath talk. Deathstrike and her crew attack Cable. Madrox tries to find out who started the camps. Siryn and co find dead Peter Quinn. Predator X moves on. There are gunshots. X, Wolverine, Warpath, and Rahne come running. Caliban can sense the baby and Cable now. The cops have been alerted, but were knocked unconscious. They escape through the maintenance tunnels. Rahne says Logan does not need to worry about James. We are reminded Scott is Cable's daddy. Deathstrike and Cable keep fighting. Layla and Jamie get taken to the mutant camp because they talked about mutants and brought down the government. Oops.

8. In Alberta, Canada, in the snow--Deathstrike is about to kill the baby. And Cable. Then X-Force shows up. YURIKO. They fight. Yay brawl! Jamie and Layla are in the camp. They get processed. X-Force tries to get to Cable. Cable shoots things. X knocks Caliban out of the way. Rahne talks about Purifiers killing children. It's bad. Deathstrike tries to fight Logan. He doesn't have time for this But he knows someone who's made at Deathstrike. He steps aside. 'Knock yourself out, X.' X attacks. She wants to see what Deathstrike can do, given her name. BLOODY CLAWS TO THE FACE. Predator X is 14 miles out of New York City. It's raining. Julian has punctured lungs, a nicked aorta, a shredded diaphragm, a severed rib, and no spleen. Ew. Surge has a guilt trip at Emma. Emma tells her to get over it and move on. Surge will protect the team from everyone, even Emma. Emma goes to talk to Scott. Deathstrike rants about how Logan seeks to shame her by having her fight a kid. She hurts X very badly. X is bloody and on the ground. She is listening. And then she sticks her foot-claw RIGHT in Deathstrike's bionic arm. No more cybernetics! And then X really attacks. Rahne knocks some Purifiers off a cliff. Cable runs away. Warpath follows. Caliban leaps between Warpath and some bullets. He dies. Oops. Warpath freaks out. Understandably. X stabs Deathstrike after enumerating exactly what it is that kills her. She should never have touched Julian Killer. Whoomch. Wolverine goes after Cable. Cable gets away by stealing the Blackbird. Oops.

9. Processing is ugly in the mutant internment camp. Cable is gone and Caliban is dead. Warpath refuses to believe it. He can never balance the scales. This is clearly an issue. Scott debriefs Logan. X mentions Cable was protecting the baby, too. X-Force will follow the trail. X wonders how. Scott has a plan. David is fixing Cerebra because the Cuckoos gave him his powers back--well, the memories he got when he had powers. He will never be able to learn anything new again. Cable is hitchiking in Texas. Tattoo-giving guy gives a monologue. In the Blackbird, Monet talks to Warpath re: Caliban. Another reminder that Cable is Scott's son. Prodigy fixes Cerebra. The Cuckoos use it. Cable is heading to Forge. Someone else got there first and Forge is unconscious. It was Bishop. Jamie now has an M tattoo.

10. Bishop tries to kill the baby. The Marauders show up. Good timing! La la la fight. Bishop is defeated. Gambit wonders why he turned on the X-men. Is this irony? Layla has a tattoo, too. She tells Jamie this is where Bishop grew up. OH NOES. Bishop lies to the X-men, saying it was Cable that beat up Forge. Jamie is still in a coma. X-Force will go with Bishop in his ship, which is faster than the Blackbird. Hepzibah and Warpath fight over whether she will travel with them. Bishop finds out Caliban is dead. Emma and the Cuckoos can't get a lock on the baby, but they can on the Marauders. Cable keeps walking. Then he contacts Xavier to help him Save the Future!

11. Layla and Jamie try to talk to ickle!Bishop. Layla steals a grenade. Kaboom. Jamie-dupe dies. The Cuckoos find the Marauders on Muir Island by tracking Gambit. X-Force and Bishop head in that direction. Siryn waits for Jamie to wake up. He does. Where's Bishop? Xavier has been repairing Cable. Jamie wants to go get Layla. Scott feels like they need to take out both Bishop AND Cable, and Bishop is out of radio contact. Oops. Cable has no idea about the Sentinels. Xavier says he has a lot to explain. The future is crap. Without the baby it is even more crap. Xavier believes him, and they head to Muir Island. Sinister and co. prepare for the X-men. Predator X arrives at the Mansion! X-Force arrives at Muir Island. Bishop's ship has stealth capacity. There is no one there. Wolverine realizes Lady Mastermind is probably at work. He stabs something. Lady Mastermind. TRAP. THen they fight.

12. Mystique 'kills' Sinister by having Rogue absorb him. Then she gets the baby. X-Force fights. Wolverine tells Rahne and Warpath if they hold back they will get killed. Then he gets shot in the face. Whatsisface is about to turn off Wolverine's healing factor when X cuts off his hands and rips out his entrails. Logan heals to slow. They have had this conversation before. More X-men show up. Cyclops wants Bishop. Mystique plans to heal Rogue by having her absorb the baby! Predator X attacks the kids in the mansion. Surge tries to protect them. Cable and Xavier show up and save Rahne. Rogue is better and the baby is not dead. Xavier gets the baby. The X-men are still fighting. Prodigy saves Surge. Predator X heads for the infirmary. Oops. Prodigy has a plan. Pixie remembers X-23 killed one of the Predator X's before. She teleports everyone there. Oops. Xavier gives Cable the baby. Bishop objects. Predator X is right behind Cable. Double oops.

13. Massive brawl. X-Force gets sent after Predator X. Xavier tells Scott to give Cable the baby. Mystique and Rogue Have Words. X-Force is having trouble taking out Predator X. It has eaten many mutants. Pixie kills a girl with her soul dagger. Emma creeps Sooraya out by enjoying a guy's pain. Rogue absorbs Mystique. Logan gets himself swallowed by Predator X. Laura freaks out. Logan cuts his way out from inside. Genius tactic. Scott gives the baby to Cable. Rogue says goodbye to Gambit and books it. Bishop goes to shoot Cable and the baby, but they are both gone into the future. Xavier takes the bullets instead. Right to the head. Oops. Scott disbands the X-men. Cable and the baby are in a future wasteland.
