Sometimes it is not so bad when the team is together. Even if Indra thinks he is going to die, and Rockslide is being very loud, and Cessily is worried and--
And then Surge and David are fighting.
And Surge kisses Julian.

She sees red. And she does not understand.
Even Julian pushing Surge away, yelling at her, does not help.
X does not understand. When he looks at her, when they all look at her, all she wants to do is make them stop.
Permanently.
And that is why she runs, breaking away from their stares and heading for the door.
Even Cessily's cry of Laura! does not stop her.
She cannot let it.
It is not safe. But she knows somewhere that is. Safer, at least. For everyone.
