Beautiful mornings are a dime a dozen, but fighting's always nice.
The sun is only just risen as X moves quickly across the grass between the bar and the forest.
She's wearing her usual track pants and tank top, but she's also got a few extra knives. They're hidden, out of long habit, but still. She has them.
It is better to be prepared.
Her pace slows fractionally as she reaches the trees, and the meeting spot she and Rachel last discussed, if only briefly.
